Make your own BOOT LACES – no special tools required!

Want to stand out from the crowd? Have your boot laces [or shoe laces] become tattered, torn, broke, or damaged? Here’s the DIY project you can do at home with NO SPECIAL TOOLS required! I’ve got the technique down for applying lace ends – also known as aglets – to PARACORD, to make tough laces on the cheap! Yes, I’m really going to crimp metal aglets with regular pliers! In this video, I’ll show you the tools, techniques, and modifications to tools, to get the job done! If you’re riding a motorcycle, you’ll want the protection method I used too, or maybe some heat shrink tubing [which I couldn’t find in time, so I just used electrical tape]. These are Harley boots, so if you have the same ones, you’ll be good to go after following the steps laid out in the video – enjoy!
