While the original goal was to test and compare the bokeh – blurry background – captured by my Canon R6 II and Nikon Z30, as well as discuss some updates to the GoPro Hero 9, Hero 10, and Hero 12, I ended up using 7 cameras to record this video – including a 17-year old Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital Elph and my Sony ZV-1!
Yep, we’ve got the 3 GoPros mounted on my helmet and bike, the Sony doing overall audio and video of the roadside picture-taking, and the Canon R6 Mark II, SD1000, and Nikon Z 30 taking pics. Just nuts. When will it stop? When will all these cameras be enough?
If you’ve got a PowerShot SD1000, you might want to pick up this charger/battery combo I found on Amazon – the charger & batteries are working quite well for me!
