Today, we’re combining some compositing techniques – namely the HSL Keyer and Magic Mask, in order to replace the background in Zoom call footage that a viewer sent me! This is a complete editing tutorial – we’re going to start with nothing but a timeline and our footage and replacement background, and end up with a finished clip! I’ll show you how to zoom in and out on clips, add transitions, change composite modes, break / cut clips, copy and paste attributes, and show some tricks and tips for editing in Davinci Resolve 19. We’ll be working in the Edit and Color tabs / pages.
