Today, we’re fixing peaky / clipped audio, using the Fairlight page in Davinci Resolve! This is not just a “here’s how to fix it” video – it’s more complete than that – so if you’re new to Resolve or the Fairlight tab, this video is for YOU! I’ll start by explaining the setup, what went wrong, how to prevent clipping audio, and then we’ll play back the audio recorded on my Nikon Z30 with RODE Video Micro mic, the Sony ZV-1 with no wind muff, and the GoPro Hero 12 with the RODE Wireless Go setup. Then, we’ll fix the Hero 12 audio. There’s some effects, some EQ work, and as a bonus we’ll test out the Voice Isolation feature of Davinci Resolve 19.
