We’re riding the BACK OF THE DRAGON from Tazewell to Marion, Virginia! This is the FULL road ride, no speeding up. I’m on my 2019 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special, and my buddy Jarvis is on his 2021 Road Glide Ultra. It’s a leisurely cruise, not an all out time attack, but hopefully this video will show you the huge elevation changes, switchbacks, twists, curves, corners, and sights!
The Back of the Dragon is 438 corners in 32 miles, and is known for its technical aspects – the aforementioned elements when combined really make sure of ALL your motorcycle riding skills and techniques!
I’ve been told this road is only for experienced, expert riders… I am neither. But I still made it through, so I recommend it for anyone with a motorcycle and the will to ride it – just ride your own ride and you’ll be fine!
