OK, so my rooftop pic was a bit of a BTS - if you head over to my channel, you can see WHY I was on the roof - yes, I was reviewing an @egopowerplus leaf blower that I bought a few months ago :D The BANGER of the night goes to this one right here! Nikon Z30, 50-250 kit lens, at 250mm. Dang. The more you look at this one, the better it gets! From street to street light 📸 photography, lol! The colors were popping tonight! Even a kit lens cam create some halfway decent macro-ish shots! Nikon Z30 with the 50-250 kit lens. You have to stand back a ways as the closest focusing distance is like 1.5ft. When I say I like bokeh, THIS is what I'm talking about... sort of. This is a great example of a narrow or thin DOF... shot at 50mm at f4.5, f8, and f16. The last one is zoomed in to 250mm and f6.3, but the way the lens compresses things, it's a steep drop-off! What am I doing on my roof with a mug of coffee and my Canon?
