Remember that clip I shared a couple of weeks ago? It’s back – this time in the video it was intended for!
I’ve linked to others’ videos in the past, and sort of spelled out how I set up my gear for moto vlogging, but I finally filmed a video of it, including audio tests on three different motorcycles! I have done dozens of tests over several hours, trying to get good, consistent audio for my moto vlogging. The video is easy – the GoPro Hero 8 handles that. It’s the audio that is so difficult with anything other than a full-face helmet!
So with that, let me walk you through setting up your gear for moto vlogging. I’m sure there are other ways to do it, but this way consistently gets me good audio, so there’s no excuse for the half helmet crowd not to do their own vlog if they want.
