Since everyone today will be on the road headed to their Thanksgiving destinations, I thought I’d share a video I came across thanks to AutoBlog and Unframed, featuring the kinetic sculpture “Metropolis II” by Chris Burden. Featuring 1,200 diecast cars and some clever conveyor belts, the sculpture is the largest of its kind that I’ve ever seen. Click past the jump for the video preview of the roller coaster action.
If you live in the Los Angeles, CA area, check it out at the LACMA, the LA County Museum of Art, where it’s headed in the near future.
