A while back, I posted an article about the new 2011 Ford Edge, which is the first Ford to feature their new generation of SYNC, dubbed MyFord Touch. The system uses a pair of LCDs flanking the speedometer and an 8″ touch screen, as well as touch-sensitive buttons on the center console, to bring all your infotainment needs together. Well, AllThingD’s Walt Mossberg, who happens to be a friend of mine, got his hands on a 2011 Edge to review MyFord Touch. Overall, it looks like he likes the new system and that it works well, but it has a steeper-than-average learning curve which may confuse some drivers. Head on over to AllThingsD.com to check it out.
