Sales were up for the second month of 2010, with a total of 778,738 vehicles sold in America. The pundits were proven correct when they said that Ford stood to gain the most out of Toyota’s recent drama, as they took the #1 position away from cross-town rival General Motors.
Sales were up for most companies, but Audi, Chevrolet (by itself), GMC, Lexus, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Pontiac, Porsche and Saab were all down. Pontiac is explained by it having been killed off, with zero production and sales only coming from what’s left at dying dealerships. From the looks of it, luxury vehicle sales took a hit as well, except for BMW and Acura.
